Buried in all that white stuff

They promised a blizzard and it delivered. We have about 22 inches of snow and it's still in the air. Not sure if it's falling or just blowing. My car is buried. I'm taking advantage of today's holiday and staying home tomorrow. So I haven't bothered to even go out in it. Aside from the trips to the front step so Shannon can take care of business, I've been holed up all day with the Olympics.

Yesterday, the Striders opted to do the usual Sunday long run because of the forecast for today. I didn't go with them since they go longer and quicker than I'm able to right now, but I did get in a 6.25 mile run. Not too bad a pace, I finished the distance in about 1:07. I should be ready to do a couple of 10k races by the spring or early summer. I am feeling sore today. Possibly because I also ran at the gym on Friday night for half an hour. So I did about 10 miles in less than 24 hours.
